CPU Undervolting/Overvolting Tutorial
- ThrottleStop
- Process Lasso
ThrottleStop
Process Lasso
ThrottleStop
C:\Program File\ThrottleStop”)
ThrottleStop.exe

- Performance
- Game
- Internet
- Battery
Chipset Clock Modulation
Set Multiplier
Speed Shift EPP
Disable Turbo

Do Not reset FID/VID on exit,退出不TS恢复设置
Start Minimized
Minimize on Close
Nvidia GPU/AMD GPU
FIVR(最重要的部分)

Voltage
OFFSET VOLTAGE
Save Voltages Changes to ThrottleStop.INI
按一下windows(或者按搜索)输入任务计划程序

程序或脚本:填入ThrottleStop.exe 的完整路径
Process Lasso
- ThrottleStop
- Process Lasso
Download Links:
ThrottleStop
Process Lasso
Notes:
XTU and TS should not be used together.
ThrottleStop
After downloading, extract it to a fixed location (a path that won’t be changed easily) (e.g., C:\Program File\ThrottleStop)
Then open ThrottleStop.exe

The first red box in the upper left is for selecting a profile. The software defaults to having 4 profiles.
- Performance
- Game
- Internet
- Battery
Usage is just like the names suggest (obviously).
Check the Speed Shift - EPP option in each of your profiles, and set them from left to right to 0 / 30 / 128 / 255 respectively.
The lower left red box, first let’s explain the functions in the first column
Clock Modulation and Chipset Clock Modulation
Do NOT check these!
Set Multiplier
It’s okay not to set this.
Speed Shift EPP Very useful!
See the number on the left? That’s editable! (Surprised?)
Enter a value between 0-255. Closer to 0 means higher performance, closer to 255 means more power saving (lower performance).
Power Saver Requires Disable Turbo to be enabled for use. This option ensures the lowest idle frequency to reduce power consumption. It’s not very useful for newer processors as modern ones have new technologies to reduce idle power consumption. Not recommended for processors newer than Core 2.
Decide for yourself, usually leave it unchecked.
Disable Turbo Disables Turbo Boost. Self-explanatory.
Best not to check with modern processors (your base frequency is only 2G+).
BD PROCHOT Extremely, extremely important and useful.
Reduces power when the temperature reaches a certain value, commonly known as the temperature throttle, this is it. (Enabled by default)
Turn it off if needed, but it’s generally not recommended.
!!! If you turn it off without other measures, the CPU will be unable to downclock automatically until it hits 100°C and forces a shutdown!!!
Save Saves the current settings to the ini file.
Remember to click this after making changes.
Click the Options button at the bottom.

Do Not reset FID/VID on exit: TS will not restore settings on exit.
Recommended to check.
Start Minimized: Minimize on startup.
Recommended to check.
Minimize on Close:
Recommended to check.
Nvidia GPU/AMD GPU: Check the one you are using.
Optional.
FIVR (The Most Important Part)

Let’s go straight to the middle line, ignoring the left side for now.
FIVR CONTROL above is easy to understand, it means selecting which component, then adjusting via the XXX Voltage below.
XXX Voltage is the key point. To prevent you from messing things up, there’s an “Unlock Adjustable Voltage” option. You must click this first to modify the settings below.
Be careful not to touch the STATIC button!
Do not touch the Voltage.
Look at Offset Voltage. Range controls your adjustment range. Left side decreases voltage, right side increases voltage.
IccMax Unclear.
If anyone knows, please tell me in the comments, thank you.
Here, you need to tune the OFFSET VOLTAGE that works best for your computer yourself.
The quality of each CPU is different; there is no universal data.
Save Voltages Changes to ThrottleStop.INI Option one: don’t save voltage settings. Option two: save when closing. Option three: save immediately.
Setting Up Auto-start on Boot
Press the Windows key (or search) and type Task Scheduler.

Task Scheduler -> Create Basic Task…
Name -> Next
When do you want the task to start? When the user logs on.
What action do you want the task to perform? Start a program.
Program/script: Enter the full path to ThrottleStop.exe.
Check “Open the Properties dialog for this task when I click Finish.”
Check “Run with highest privileges.”
Conditions tab: Uncheck all options. Some grayed-out options may need their parent option checked to be selectable, then you can uncheck both the parent and the child. In the end, ensure there are no checkboxes checked, including grayed-out ones.
Settings tab: Check “Allow task to be run on demand.” Uncheck all others.
OK.
